As a Catholic Academy Trust belonging to the Diocese of Shrewsbury, we are able to welcome other Diocesan schools located within the following local authorities: Manchester, Stockport, Trafford and Tameside.

We would welcome maintained schools who are interested in becoming a voluntary academy, as well as single academy trusts wishing to benefit from our supportive approach, collaborative practices and developed infrastructure. We are also very keen to welcome schools who are seeking an academy sponsor to support them through the school improvement journey.

Our desire to become an academy sponsor is primarily driven by our Catholic mission which includes providing a service to society and working in partnership with others. In relation to education, we believe this entails supporting leaders facing challenges, raising pupil attainment, improving life chances of the most vulnerable and ensuring resources are distributed to those most in need.

We have a particular expertise for supporting schools in areas with the highest deprivation, but would welcome all schools irrespective of the context in which they are based.
